Sugi Arisa (杉 ありさ) is a Japanese actress and talent.
She joined LDH JAPAN in 2018.
Biography[]
Sugi Arisa was born on January 6, 1989.
She graduated from Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. She had always been interested in singing and already sang solo on numerous stages when she was still a student. She started doing classical ballet at a young age and also tried out various other genres of dance, such as jazz, hip-hop, etc.
In 2008, she performed as a back-up dancer on TUBE's "Live Around Special 2008 Paradiso ~Natsu no Jalapeno~" and entered the entertainment world after becoming a finalist of "LesPros GIRLS AUDITION 2008".
In 2009, she became a finalist of "Miss FLASH 2009". In April of the same year, she started making her first regular TV appearance on Fuji TV's late night live variety show Campus Night Fuji. She also made her stage debut with "Love Musical" in September.
From then on, she fully utilized her natural dance and singing talent on the stage and has appeared in many plays of Fukuhara Mitsunori, Tsuka Kohei and KAKIKUUKYAKU. As for TV drama, she played Takada Mami in CHUKYO TV's 45th Anniversary Celebration Drama Mothers which was awarded an Excellence Award in TV Drama Section of ACA National Arts Festival. She also serves as a main host and reporter on many of her regular programs, such as FM Yokohama's "icon", NTV's "Shu-ichi", etc. Her latest works include the musical "Koi to Ongaku FINAL ~Jikan Gekijou no Kiseki~" (2016), Toho Musical "Miss Saigon" (2016-17) and stage play series "Kuroko's Basketball" (2016, 17, 18) and others where she has appeared as a main cast member.
Personal Life[]
On October 22, 2017, she married EXILE member USA after dating for about 7 years.
On February 18, 2019, it was announced that Sugi had given birth to the couple's first child, a boy.[1] When it was revealed that she was pregnant in 2018, she also officially joined LDH JAPAN.
