Sada Mayumi (佐田 真由美) is a Japanese model, actress and business woman.

She is the director of LDH models and the jewelry brand Enasoluna, for which she also acts as a designer.

Biography

Sada Mayumi was born on August 23, 1977 in Tokyo, Japan.

At the age of three, she was scouted and started working as a model. However, she stopped modeling when she was in middle school to concentrate on her studies.

After high school, she was scouted again and resumed her modeling career. She was repeatedly unsuccessful in auditions, but after shooting an advertisement, she met a stylist from the fashion magazine ViVi and was given the opportunity to go to the editorial department to present herself. "I was just in my twenties, but it wasn't so easy to get a lot of work right away, so I spent my days auditioning, failing, and going to lessons. However, one of my ad shoots led me to meet Sasaki Keiko, who was working as a stylist for ViVi at the time, and she gave me a chance to show my face to the editorial department. I became a full-time model and every day flew by like a gale."

In 1998, she became an exclusive model for ViVi.

In 2001, she made her debut as a singer with the single "pray/discovery".

In 2003, she made her acting debut in the movie Tenshi no Kiba B.T.A..

In September 2006, she launched her own jewelry brand, Enasoluna.

Her maternal grandfather was American.

Relationships

In the mid 2000s, Sada was reported to be in a relationship with EXILE HIRO, the director of her agency. On March 5, 2008, it was revealed that the couple had broken up in 2007. In response to the coverage by some women's weekly magazines, their office commented on the reports via statement by fax: "Since this is a private matter, we would like to refrain from giving details. HIRO and Sada Mayumi have changed their (relationship) form about a year ago, and now, as colleagues belonging to the same office, they are working together and have a very good relationship."

On October 1, 2008, Sada married creator Nomura Kunichi.

On April 6, 2009, she gave birth to the couple's first child, a girl. On November 4, 2010, their second daughter was born.
