RIKACO (real name: Yoshikawa Rikako) is a Japanese talent, business woman, actress and model. Her former stage name is Murakami Rikako.

She was the CEO of LDH farm. Her qualifications include "Organic product advisor", "Beauty superfood meister" and "Aromatherapy stylist".

Biography[]

RIKACO was discovered at the age of 13 and began her career as a fashion model. She has appeared on many popular fashion magazines. With her well-proportioned figure and great fashion sense, she became a fashion icon and won many female fans.

Afterward, she started her career in TV and appeared on many variety shows, TV dramas, movies and commercials as a host and actress.

She got married at the age of 27 and gave birth to 2 children. She thinks that raising children is like raising oneself at the same time, and her lifestyle as a mother draws public attention.

Inspired by food education which she discovered through raising children, she launched an organic products brand called ā€œbe my selfā€ in 2009. As an organic specialty brand, it offers food, aroma products and yoga programs. She delivers her philosophies through the brand which reflects her wish to save the environment for younger generations.

She aquired her organic product advisor certification in the autumn of 2016 and a beauty superfood meister qualification in November 2017. In 2018, she founded "RIKACO's Wellbeing Food Meister" authorized by THE JAPANESE SUPER FOODS and began to give lectures.

In 2001, she released a women’s fashion catalog titled ā€œRIKACO'S styleā€ published by Dinos for which she designs, selects products and models. Supported by many female fans, she spread her business field into directing a bag brand and a sports brand, and writing serial columns in fashion magazines.

As a fashion icon and a lifestyle advisor, RIKACO continues to grow and expand her field of activities.

Personal Life[]

Family

In 1993, RIKACO married actor Watabe Atsuro who belonged to the same agency at the time. During their marriage, she gave birth to two sons, her first son in 1994 and her second son in 1998. The couple divorced in 2005.[1]

Her eldest son is screenwriter Watabe Mikiya (渔部樹也)[2] and her second son is model Watabe Ren (ęø”éƒØč“®).

She lost her mother at the age of 49 and her father at the age of 52.[3]
