Nobata Shin (野畑慎) is a Japanese singer. He was the lead singer of the J-Rock band The ROOTLESS from their debut in 2009 until their dissolution in 2015.

Nobata Shin was born on May 3, 1982, in Hokkaido, Japan.
He graduated from EXPG Tokyo and participated in the VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION where he was eliminated after the second round.
In April 2009, he became part of the J-Rock band The ROOTLESS in April 2009. He made his indie debut with the band on September 23 in the same year and his major debut under the record label avex trax about a year later.
