Natsu no Yoake wo Matsu Bokura (夏の夜明けを待つ僕ら; We Who Wait for the Dawn of Summer) is a Monogatari Music Project by LDH Records. It is a new type of entertainment project that combines music (listening), video/illustrations (viewing), and novels (reading) to tell a single story.
The original story is written by *Luna, a popular music producer, and novelist Oto Hatsuki. Popular illustrator Fusui, who has created numerous illustrations and lyric videos, and up-and-coming video creator taichi also joined the project. The hero of the story is played by NORISTRY, a male singer, while the heroine is played by Kurokumo, a female singer.[1][2][3][4][5]
The project was announced on June 8, 2022, with its first episode being released on the same day.[1][5]
Description[]
The work tells the story of a hero and heroine who have lost themselves and are trying to recover their "true selves" and "what is truly important". Tachibana Kazuma, an office worker who has become isolated and unable to fit in with society, and Enami Shizuku, a singer-songwriter whose heart has been worn out by her success, meet in a small village where they have run away. The work depicts their interactions with the residents who live in that place, are rich in individuality and hold to their beliefs.
