History[]
In November 2018 the ENERGY PROJECT which advertises different fitness supplies from LDH martial arts was introduced. The advertisements for this project features GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE members Shirahama Alan and Kazuhara Ryuto as well as E-girls (and Happiness) members Fujii Karen and Suda Anna.[1] For those advertisements, GENERATIONS released the song "G-ENERGY" and E-girls "EG-ENERGY".
On March 3, 2021, it was announced that the company would establish a new project titled "Kakuto-ka Ikusei Project" (格闘家育成プロジェクト; Martial Artist Cultivation Project) to discover, train and support martial artists who want to become professionals. In addition, LDH artists would also participate in this project, with the goal of creating new martial arts entertainment and introducing Japanese fighters to the world.[2] The second goal of this project would be to support the second careers of martial artists who have retired from the front lines by creating an environment where they can take on new challenges as instructors and event producers.[3]
As part of the project, LDH held the audition program Kakuto DREAMERS. During the final episode on May 15, 2021, it was revealed that two participants, Nakamura Rinya and Usami Sho Patrick, were selected as winners and would sign a contract with LDH martial arts.[4] Additionally, five fighters who did not pass were given tentative contracts and a second season of the audition program was announced, with the recruitment for participants starting on the same day.[5][6]
The second season of Kakuto DREAMERS will start on February 5, 2022.
On April 24, 2022, a fusion of live performance and martial arts titled POUND STORM, was held at Ryogoku Kokugikan.[7]
