LDH Records, also known as LDH music & publishing Inc. (株式会社 LDH music&publishing) and formerly known as LDH MUSIC, is an in-house record label, music production platform and publisher of LDH on 3 continents: Asia, North America and Europe, with bases in Tokyo, Amsterdam, Los Angeles and Shanghai. The label was founded on January 1, 2017.
The first representative director and CEO of the subsidiary was Sato Tatsuro, while EXILE SHOKICHI was involved as a director.[1] The current representative director and CEO is Kadota Yoshiho (門田 吉穂).
Artists signed to this record label are not necessarily managed by LDH itself.
History[]
In July 2018, EXILE SHOKICHI established the record label "KOMA DOGG" as a subsidiary of LDH MUSIC and project made up of producers and creator teams he worked with.[2][3][4]
On February 17, 2021, Tosaka Hiroomi announced that that his solo activities would now be under his own project "CDL entertainment", a newly established record label and subsidiary of LDH Records named after Tosaka's project CLAIR DE LUNE.[5][6][7]
On August 24, 2022, it was announced that TikTok singer Furin., a contestant on the "Drama Theme Song Audition" from the TV program ~Yume no Audition Variety~ Dreamer Z, would debut under the newly established label POPCORN RECORDS, a subsidiary of LDH Records, as its first artist on the same day.[8][9][10]
On March 22, 2023, it was announced that Japanese-Korean singer-songwriter SG had teamed up with LDH Records to establish his own independent label, "SUPERGENIUS Entertainment".[11]
On August 7, 2023, it was announced that influencer, model and producer Hana would debut as a singer under POPCORN RECORDS, a subsidiary of LDH Records which aims to discover young artists, as the label's second artist on the same day.[12][13][14]
