History[]

KUREA (Masuda Kurea), SUZUKA (Adachi Suzuka), KOKOA (Naka Kokoa), RIO (Hanabashi Rio) and CHINO (Ishii Chino) were all members of the trainee group Bunnies until the discontinuation of the E-girls Pyramid in June 2017.[2] Afterwards, the group's line-up became students of EXPG Lab.[3][4][5]

On June 26, 2019, members MOMOKA (Sumitani Momoka), YOUKA (Ogawa Youka), KUREA and KIRA (Yamaguchi Kira) debuted in the J-Pop girl group Girls² associated with the Girls x Heroine! franchise. Prior to their debut, they had been participating in the franchise as actresses. Suzuka had also been part of the franchise but left EXPG before Girls² debuted, so she did not become a member of the group.

At the first concert of E-girls' final tour E-girls PERFECT LIVE 2011▶2020, RUI (Yokoi Rui) and YUNA (Yamashita Yuna) were introduced as 2 of the 3 vocalists of LDH's new girl group iScream.[6]

In January 2020, RIO who left EXPG Lab on March 4, 2019 to pursue an acting career, participated in the survival show Nizi Project (a collaboration between JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Japan). On March 27, it was revealed that she was one of the top 14 contestants (10th place) and would move on to the next stage of the show. On June 26, it was announced that RIO had finished the final of the show on 4th place, making her one of the winners and a final member of the group NiziU.[7][8]
