~Yume no Audition Variety~ Dreamer Z (～夢のオーディションバラエティー～Dreamer Z), simply known as Dreamer Z, is a TV program documenting the process of LDH JAPAN's iCON Z audition. The show aired from October 24, 2021 to March 26, 2023 and was broadcast on TV Tokyo every Sunday at 9 pm (21:00 JST).

The show follows the lineage of the popular audition program "ASAYAN" on the same station. Additionally, the program also includes a "Hikigatari Z Audition" (弾き語りＺ　オーディション) in collaboration with TikTok and a "Jinsei de Ichido Kurai Drama no Shuyaku o Yatte Mitai Hito Audition" (人生で一度くらいドラマの主役をやってみたい人オーディション) to select the leading cast of a 2022 TV drama, both unrelated to LDH.[1][2][3][4][5]

Description[]

This is a documentary audition program that follows in the footsteps of TV Tokyo's legendary audition program "ASAYAN", giving dreams and hopes to the "Z Generation" and discovering the stars of the future. The program will broadcast three auditions.[6]

iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~

This is the biggest audition in the history of LDH JAPAN and the main part of the program. EXILE HIRO will be the general producer, EXILE AKIRA and EXILE SHOKICHI will be in charge of the male section, and Tosaka Hiroomi will be in charge of the female section to discover new talents in each project. The LDH audition has created many dramas so far. Don't miss the young people chasing their dreams.[5]

Hikigatari Z Audition

On TikTok, there has been a rapid increase in the number of singers who upload their narratives and create hit songs from them, such as "Kosui" by Eito and "Maho no Jutan" by Kawasaki Takaya. Following in their footsteps, many singers are now uploading their own songs to TikTok. The battle to become a star is heating up. In order to create the next star, this program has collaborated with TikTok to hold an unprecedented "Z Audition" for singers who play their own songs.[5]

Jinsei de Ichido Kurai Drama no Shuyaku o Yatte Mitai Hito Audition

The program also includes an audition for the feamle lead role in a late-night TV Tokyo drama in 2022. Who will be the Cinderella whose fate will change in a single night? If you successfully win the leading role, you will be able to co-star with a famous actor. However, you must not be an aspiring actress at the moment. This audition is for women have never thought of becoming an actress, but would like to try acting at least once in their life.[5]

Dreamer Otsu[]

Dreamer Otsu (Dreamer乙) is a TV program linked to Dreamer Z and a support program for iCON Z. The show started airing on October 11, 2021 and is broadcasted on TV Tokyo every Monday at 00:30 pm (24:30 JST).[7][8]

Description[]

In the program, the MCs and the guests look at the precious images of their own auditioning days when they were young and talk about the backstory and memories of those days. From the viewpoint of those who have gone through auditioning, they also talk about the points of auditioning (for iCON Z) and their thoughts on it compared to their own time.[9]
